1st Hurst Brownies

We hope you have enjoyed seeing our African marigolds in the small bed outside the Scout hut. Narcissus bulbs were planted in September, ready for the Spring.

Just five girls took part in the Loddon District swimming gala in October but still managed to a chieve a worthy 2nd place. This included the efforts of two 7 year olds, one of whom swam four full lengths and in the deep end despite not having done this before!

We visited the London Eye and Aquarium in half term, which was a great success. On 15th November, we held a show in aid of the Diane Brimblecombe Animal Rescue Centre, followed by a discussion about the future of the Pack after Easter.
