HVS Dinner Dance

This year’s Annual Dinner Dance will be held on Saturday 23rd October with a theme of Trafalgar Day (but not fancy dress). As mentioned in the last newsletter, this event is always over-subscribed and we shall be giving a priority booking opportunity to members of the Village Society. For the purpose of this exercise a member shall be deemed to be any member of a Hurst household who has paid their £5 subscription by 31st August. Subscriptions can be paid to the Treasurer whose details are on the back page of the newsletter, and there’s also a Membership Form on the inside back page.

Tickets, priced £18 each, up to 4 tickets per household, will be available to members between 6th and 19th September from David Shapland (934 xxxx). From 20th September any tickets remaining will be on general release. We hope that a lot of residents will attend this event and that it will spur people on who meant to join the Society but just haven’t got round to it to do so.
