"Organic Farm" for Hurst?
Proposals to start an "organic farm" in the centre of the village were turned down by WDC in December.
An appeal against this decision is scheduled for the Spring.
On the face of it, this may sound quite good, but:
- the land is the inverted "C" between Tape Lane and Lodge Road which we have fought so hard to keep open
(remember the Retirement Village in 1987/8 and the Equestrian Centre in 1995?)
- the land is still owned by the Luff business interests.

Village Society AGM
This year's AGM will be held in the Large Village Hall at 7:30 on Friday 25th February.
All village residents are welcome.
