Dial a Ride Services

There are two Dial a Ride services – Keep Mobile, and Wokingham Readibus - operating in the parish. These provide much-needed transport for people with restricted mobility, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

Both services work on a door-to-door basis and undertake individual trips such as to go shopping, and will also run longer excursions both for individuals and larger groups.

Anyone interested in using these services, or helping people to use them, should contact the providers on the telephone numbers below for more information including membership and charges.

  • Keep Mobile - 0118 979 xxxx
  • Wokingham ReadiBus - 0118 931 0000

The services are financially supported by Wokingham District Council and the St. Nicholas Hurst Parish Council.

The Annual Village Clean-Up will take place this year on Saturday 23 March. Report to the Large Village Hall between 9 am and 12 noon to collect safety tabards, litter pickers and sacks. Please bring your own gloves and wear stout waterproof footwear.
