From Jackie Daniels - Police Community Support Officer for Hurst

Twyford Police Station is now resourced by volunteers on Mondays 2pm - 6pm and again in Saturdays 10am - 2pm. We are looking to extend these times when more volunteers are trained to use the front counter. Local residents will no longer have to travel to Wokingham or Loddon Valley with enquiries as they will be able to come to Twyford!

As in my last newsletter there have been a number of burglaries where vehicle keys and, subsequently, cars have been stolen. The majority have been overnight, so please make sure windows and doors are locked. These incidents are being investigated, but please don't make it easy for the burglars - take your keys, handbags etc upstairs with you at night!!
