Hurst Gospel Hall News

Autumn signals the start-up of several activities at the Gospel Hall. Sunday School began in September, when activities included singing, quizzes, and Bible stories. There is also the Tuesday Club at 6.15pm for anyone who finds 9.30am on a Sunday a bit early, writes Rachel Simms.

The first Ladies Evening of the season was held on 11 September, and will be held on the first Wednesday of the month during the winter. These are informal evenings, often learning to do something practical. We believe that the Bible has a very relevant message for today, so each evening includes a short Bible-based talk.

Advance warning of October half-term activities. We are planning to run another Holiday Bible Club from 10.00am to 12 noon each day. We have lots of fun ideas, and we just need you to supply the children! For further details of these events, please call David and Rachel Simms on 0118 977 2071 or Stephen and Gill Davis on 0118 966 xxxx.
