Don't Be Ripped Off!

The Twyford, Wargrave and District Police Liaison Group is meeting at the small Village Hall on Thursday 14 November at 7.30pm to hear about the work of the Trading Standards Officers.

This is a public meeting where people can ask questions about how to combat crime, and that includes buying goods that are not always what they seem to be.

Hamish Simmonds, Trading Standards Officer at Wokingham District Council will be talking about his work, and giving people advice about how to spot a fraudulent trader as well as reminding people of their rights.
