Twyford and District Older People’s Forum

Wokingham District Council, together with Age Concern Berkshire, is supporting the formation of a number of local Forums / Action Groups for people over 50 years, and those who serve their interests.

The inaugural meeting of the Twyford & District Older People’s Forum was held on the 27th May 2004. The Group agreed that the overall aims of the Forum should be the promotion of an active and fulfilling life for elderly people with support for them to maintain their independence in later years.

For the remainder of this year, apart from August and December, the meetings will be held from 2pm to 4pm, on the fourth Thursday of each month, at the St Thomas Moore Roman Catholic Church, Twyford.
